The Art Gallery in the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center is adjacent to the Ruth Lilly Performance Hall; its high ceiling and natural light makes it ideal for displaying a wide variety of works. The gallery presents a new exhibit about every thirty days, and major local and regional artists are the focus of most exhibits.

Susan Fleck: Breaking Ground

Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between March 24 and May 9, 2008 from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Breaking Ground is part of a collection of photographs made during Susan Fleck’s Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship sponsored by the Arts Council of Indianapolis. The soft, misty, dream-like images of farming and rural life transport the viewer to a world of colors and textures where the ordinary takes on an ethereal quality.
